Let me tell you about my process. First, I start with drawing an oval somewhere. Then I lovingly add the face. Then everything else. I normally add text right after the outline of the people. Today I thought, "Let's just see where this goes; the text will be thought of after the coloring." And then after I had done all the coloring I thought, "I don't even need text. Isn't it better for people to make their own decisions about what's happening?" And then I wrote this.

Hola and aloha, humans. I hope you are having a wonderful time and aren't experiencing snow.
My mom sent me pictures of the Old Country. It's just awful. Sure, the snow looks pretty (until anything touches it), but there is nothing else good about it. Well, there may be at least two other good things: 1. cheap seasonal insulation, and 2. if you have indoor plumbing problems that necessitate an additional water source, you can melt it.
Today is the first day of my life that I actively understood that the shape oval is named oval because eggs are that shape. This was because of not being sober.
